- Contexto
- At present, most States do not permit civil supersonic flights over their territories. For most aircraft types, the noise caused by aircraft en route (other than sonic boom) is not a significant problem because the aircraft are flying too high to cause a disturbance at ground level. However, this can be a problem in the case of helicopters and, if ever they materialize, aircraft driven by propfan engines.
