For a specific aeroplane, it may be permissible to operate on a runway turn pad not provided in accordance with Annex 14, Volume I, specifications, considering: a) the specific ground manoeuvring capability of the specific aeroplane (notably the maximum effective steering angle of the nose landing gear); e) the protection from jet blast; and b) the provision for adequate clearances; c) the provision for appropriate marking and lighting;
