Contexto
Regarding the left engine, the propeller governor was found in an abnormal condition. A bench check showed that the pressure cut out switch in the propeller governor was operating at 700 - 7 4 5 psi, i , e, about 100 psi higher than specified by the overhaul manual.
A rogue part is one that is reused without being properly cer tified or checked for serviceability . For example, a part may be written-up in a crew aircraft maintenance discrepancy report. However, after the part receives a clean bench check, it is placed back on the “serviceable” shelf for re-use at a later date.
