- Contexto
- Helicopters, aimed at improving safety by strengthening the oversight and requirements of foreign operators and at establishing a harmonized and standardized AOC, were adopted by the Council. The content of the AOC and associated operations specifications was updated and their layout specified.
- Testing of sensors and systems is carried out to develop information on their performance under specified conditions of use. Manufacturers typically carry out tests of their sensors and systems and in some cases publish operational specifications based on their test results.
- Today at major terminals, some commercial operators with appropriate equipment, pilot qualifications, and approved Operations Specifications (OpSpecs) may takeoff with visibility as low as 300 feet runway visual range (RVR).
