- The Representative ofMalaysia trusted that in pursuance of the measures to achieve emissions reductions as identified by WG/2, the GIACC would not overlook the importance of efficient operation in the air and on the ground, and improvement of air traffic management, airport infrastructure and also alternative fuels.
- The airport managing body of a Level 1 airport should monitor demand for airport infrastructure and develop additional capacity when required to meet that demand. It is also responsible for working with handling agents and other agencies to avoid constraints that impact on airline operations. The airport managing body may request information from airlines on planned operations in specified formats. In some cases, it may appoint a data collection agent to undertake this task.
