- A runway designation marking shall consist of a two-digit number and on parallel runways shall be supplemented with a letter.

- Runway Markings: A symbol or group of symbols displayed on the surface of the runway in order to convey aeronautical information. These markings may include runway designation marking, runway centerline marking, threshold marking, traverse stripes, touchdown zone marking, and runway side stripe marking.
