Contexto
GNSS-derived heights are referenced to the WGS-84 ellipsoid which will usually differ from the “normal” (orthometric) height at the same point. The difference will be of significance in the aerodrome environment when navigating with GNSS sensors. The difference between orthometric height (geoid height, elevation) and WGS-84 ellipsoidal height must therefore be made available to the aviation community.
