Contexto
A runway lead-in lighting system should extend from a point as determined by the appropriate authority, up to a point where the approach lighting system, if provided, or the runway or the runway lighting system is in view.
Changes in configuration and decreases in spacing are required. Touchdown zone and closely spaced centre line lights are added to the runway lighting system in order to decrease the distances at which lights are required to be seen, and hence improve the cues.
