- Each aerodrome, and to some extent, each sector of airspace is affected by local meteorological conditions which impact on their individual actual capacity at any moment in time. New equipment to support aircraft operations during hazardous meteorological conditions (e.g. advanced surface movement guidance and control systems, synthetic vision), are becoming increasingly available.
