- A training specialist who has completed formal training in instructional techniques and who has the responsibility to deliver a given course to trainees in accordance with the standards defined for that course. The essential qualifications for Instructors using a Standardized Training Package (STP) are the ability to motivate trainees, confirmed mastery of the subject which allows them to add their personal touch to the contents of the training package and an appreciation of the value of following the validated STP training sequence.
