Contexto
Considering the weather conditions which existed at this time, the Safety Board believes that Clipper 759's pilots heard and were aware of the wind shear advisories received on their radio and had evaluated this data before beginning their takeoff.
For the final approach, the effect of the increased BPR is small and the expected noise level reductions will also be small, even with noise reduction technologies, which are expected to be clearly smaller than at takeoff.
