- The trend forecast shall indicate the expected onset or cessation of one or more of the following weather phenomena or combinations thereof: - freezing fog - low drifting dust, sand or snow - blowing dust, sand or snow - thunderstorm (without precipitation) - squall - funnel cloud (tornado or waterspout).
- Smoke (FU), ice crystals (IC), haze (HZ), dust (DU), and sand (SA) are forecast when they are expected to reduce the visibility to six statute miles or less.
