Contexto
Hydraulic Power Accumulator, Main The component that provides for pressure surges to maintain a constant pressure in the system. Typical parts are accumulator, seal, end cap, air valve, etc.
The emergency brake control in the cockpit is connected mechanically to operate the air valve. The air valve is located in the upper forward inboard comer of the left wheel well. Fire damage to a cable-drum assembly or pushrod could result in the cockpit control handle being free to drop.
