Contexto
Divers with decompression sickness or an air embolism require immediate treatment with hyper-baric oxygen in a recompression chamber. These dive-related injuries are worsened by reduced atmospheric pressure. Aircraft transporting these victims should fly at the lowest safe altitude, which may require taking a less direct route.
