cruising speed
- Definição1
- A speed in level flight that results from a power setting recommended by the manufacturer for cruising under a given set of conditions. Cruising speed at a given power setting varies with altitude, aircraft weight, and the direction of the wind. Selection of the power setting is determined by the purpose (i.e., for maximum range, optimum operating efficiency, and so on).
