- Contexto
- Standard 6.28 facilitates the expeditious handling of unclaimed, unidentified and mishandled baggage (defined in the Glossary) thereby providing better customer service to passengers. These categories of baggage are generally the responsibility of aircraft operators. They may appoint a contractor ("service provider") to provide a baggage tracing service for unidentified or unclaimed baggage. The storage of such baggage would normally be in an airport.
