- Nota Adicional1
- Though the terms non-scheduled and charter (i.e. a contractual arrangement between an air carrier and an entity hiring or leasing its aircraft) have come to be used interchangeably, it should be noted that not all commercial non-scheduled operations are charter flights.
- Contexto
- A charter rate is a tariff for the charter or lease of all or a part of the capacity of an aircraft. In contrast, a charter fare is the price charged an individual passenger on a charter flight by the charter organizer or charter tour operator. Charter fares have some of the characteristics of comparable fares on scheduled services.
