fuel filter
Definição1
A filter in the fuel system of aircraft to prevent minute contaminations from affecting adversely the engine-driven fuel pump and fuel control components. There is a low-pressure filter between the supply tank and the engine fuel system and high-pressure filter between the fuel pump and the fuel control unit. The fuel filters are rated in microns, which indicate the maximum thickness of impurities that can be prevented from entering the system.
