- The safety analysis should consider obstacle clearance criteria and risk of collision due to navigation error, and the risk of unsafe landing due to navigation error, given the system design characteristics and operational environment (such as the type of aircraft conducting the approach and the supporting airport infrastructure).
- For aeroplanes of a maximum certificated take-off mass in excess of 45 500 kg or with a passenger seating capacity greater than 60, a least-risk location on the aeroplane shall be identified where a bomb or other explosive device may be placed to minimize the effects on the aeroplane in the case of detonation.
