- The flight engineer stated that he did not think that the airplane lost a.c. electrical power during the upset and subsequent descent. He said that he had not seen any instrument warning flags during the entire episode and that, "If we had lost electrical power we would have seen flags. According to the flight engineer, after all the engines had started, he checked the electrical control panel, and, except for the fact that the No. 4 generator was open, light was lit, all other lights were out and “everything was normal."
