- This approach will only be authorized when requested by the pilot and the reported ground visibility at the destination airport is at least 1 statute mile.
- The system should provide slant distance to aircraft with the following accuracy: a) 3 statute mile or 23% slant distance, whichever is the greater, up to 115 statute miles, This accuracy shall be provided for at least 95% of the indications (based on normal Gaussian error law) and includes all errors in air and ground equipment;
