- The appropriate authority should ensure that aviation security services at airports serving civil aviation within the State are provided with supporting resources and facilities (human, financial, technical and administrative resources), including office space, communications equipment, appropriate security screening equipment and training facilities.
- General clarified that although such an exhibition would be a way of generating additional financial resources, one was not being organized as the Conference was of very short duration and was addressed mainly to Governments, represented at the ministerial level, that would take policy decisions. Furthermore, an exhibition would distract attention away from the HLCAS and would have to be organized well in advance as the voluminous security screening equipment required shipping.
