Contexto
Air operations in support of police operations and customs and border protection (CBP) services are predominantly undertaken by non-military law enforcement air assets.
For example, agencies in the DHS, such as the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and TSA work closely with and consult and coordinate with the FAA as appropriate, but have no authority to circumvent FAA’s operational control.
