- If the lifting equipment being used is not capable of lifting to the required height in a single step, it may be necessary to lift the aircraft in stages. In this case, extra support from shoring or cradles will be necessary while the lifting equipment is repositioned. For additional lift, it may be necessary to build a platform under a jack or pneumatic lifting device.
