Contexto
The frequency band 5 030–5 091 MHz is to be used for the microwave landing system. MLS provides for precision approach and landing of aircraft. Future implementation of MLS is expected to be limited, mainly due to the prospect of GNSS (GBAS) offering equivalent capabilities, but where deployed, the MLS needs to be protected from harmful interference.
