- To indicate a change to clear sky, the abbreviation SKC (sky clear) shall replace the groups NsNsNshshshs or VVhshshs. When no cloud below 1 500 metres (5 000 ft) or the highest minimum sector altitude, whichever is greater, and no Cumulonimbus are forecast, and CAVOK or SKC are not appropriate, the abbrevation NSC shall be used.
