landing weight
Definição1
The weight of an aircraft on touchdown. It is often limited and is less than the maximum takeoff weight. Most aircraft have a provision for jettisoning or dumping fuel to bring the aircraft within a specified maximum weight for landing. Landing with higher than the specified weight may involve special checks to be carried out on the landing gear and the aircraft structure.

If the design landing weight is less than that permitted under the requirements of §23.473(b), the airplane must have a fuel jettisoning system installed that is able to jettison enough fuel to bring the maximum weight down to the design landing weight.
