Contexto
It is necessary to calculate the weight of the aircraft and its centre of gravity location in order to anticipate changes in the stability of the aircraft. Both weight and centre of gravity location are also used to calculate the expected loads and to assist in the selection of the appropriate removal technique. Most ARMs provide worksheets to assist in calculating the net recoverable weight (NRW) and/or recoverable empty weight (REW) and the associated moments.
