Contexto
Consultations were held regarding radar, air safety and computer systems, the balanced scorecard approach (management indicators), aeronautical standards and bird strikes, airport operations, taxation, registration and nationalization of aeronautical goods, procurement of an aeronautical message handling system (AMHS), an aeronautical information services database, and an automatic terminal information service (ATIS) and the upgrading of the Integrated System of Aeronautical Regulations (SIAR), as well as related equipment and services.
Typically during pre-flight planning a NOTAM is available. Once airborne, the crew gets information through the ATIS, and with rapidly changing conditions, verbal updates are usually available through the tower.
When RVR at TDZ falls below 400 m, a follow-me car is available on standby to assist pilots during taxi upon request. Pilots will be informed by ATIS or ATC when LVP are in progress. The ATIS message will contain the phrase “LOW VISIBILITY PROCEDURES IN PROGRESS” and will also provide details of any unavailability of equipment relevant to LVP. Piilots will be informed by ATC when LVP are terminated.
