- When a Contracting State grants single-pilot operation privileges to the holder of a multi-crew pilot licence, it can document the privileges through an endorsement of the multi-crew pilot licence or through the issuance of a commercial pilot licence in the aeroplane category.

- However, with a view to facilitating their processing towards implementation by States, they have been prepared in language that will permit direct use by the personnel of approved training organizations and others associated with the development and implementation of a training programme for the multi-crew pilot licence and the aircraft maintenance mechanic/technician/engineer licence.
