- Definição1
- The controls that allow the pilot to yaw the aircraft. In an airplane, the rudder pedals move the rudder and produce an aerodynamic force that causes the airplane to rotate about its vertical axis. In a helicopter, the rudder pedals, more accurately called the anti-torque pedals, control de pitch of the tail rotor to increase or decrease its thrust to rotate the helicopter about its vertical axis.
