Contexto
Where required for take-off performance calculations or wherever accurate corrections are required for non-standard (as opposed to off-standard) atmospheres, appropriate methods are given in ESDU Item 78012, Height relationships for non-standard atmospheres. This allows for non-standard temperature lapse rates and lapse rates defined in terms of either geopotential height or pressure height.
