Contexto
In order to avoid excessive traffic on the AFS, NOTAM must be addressed only to NOF and further distribution within the State made by or through delegation from the NOF concerned. NOTAM used for notifying volcanic activity and ASHTAM must also be sent to volcanic ash advisory centres and must take into consideration the requirements for long-range operations. Furthermore, in exceptional cases, the direct exchange of SNOWTAM between adjacent aerodromes is permitted, should this be operationally necessary and if direct AFS circuits are available. The exchanges between NOF should, as far as practicable, be limited to the pre-ascertained requirements of the receiving States concerned by means of separate series for at least international and domestic flights.
