pushback
Sinônimos
towing
Definição1
An expression used to indicate the rearward movement of an aircraft under tow on the surface of an airport. ATC (air traffic control) may not be in position to see all obstructions that an aircraft may encounter during push-back, and so the ATC response to pilots who request push-back will be "Push back at your discretion". Pilots will be given as much traffic information as possible.
