- It is imperative that the PF keep the aeroplane in trim while flying with an engine inoperative on a multi-engine aeroplane. At slow speed and high thrust on the remaining engine(s), the autopilot (A/P) on some aeroplanes is generally incapable of holding the correct attitude against an adverse yaw condition, which may result in an upset.
